I always notice the shape of shadows, water stains, cracks etc, especially when they look like objects or beings. When I was a kid I used to see patterns in the stucco on our walls. Check out these shadows.

I'm sure I am not the only person in San Diego commenting on the Big Bay fireworks premature ejection last night. I just can't help myself. Everyone is talking about it, from the line for coffee at my local Starbucks to the news feeds streaming across my monitor and here at the office.
With holidays on the horizon, it got us to thinking you may want to take some photos of your own pets for gifts or cards. Other than baby photos, pictures of pets are probably the most popular in any "haus".
Well, the Mary's Tack and Feed Annual Tent Sale is just around the corner and I find myself all aflutter with anticipation. This sale is the equivalent of the Nordstrom Half Yearly for horse people – if you can even imagine such a thing.
Yesterday, we picked up our new dog, Pamela, at the San Diego airport. We adopted Pamela from a couple in Texas who needed to downsize their living situation and couldn't take a large dog with them. I have never transported or received an animal via airplane - what an experience.
I have a horse show in two weeks and I'm already getting a little nervous... at least I think it's nerves, maybe just excitement. I find myself wondering if I've made progress over the winter or if I'm going to pick up right where I left off last season.
We're having a little Christmas fun here at Ruff Haus. Taking photos of Quigley after he destroyed his Frosty the Snowman toy. So much fun we decided to write our own version of the song. Here goes:
